Hi, I'm Edward Dai, A freelance technical sound designer based in Vancouver, Canada.
My relationship with sound started on the violin, where I spent years honing my performance skills in the classical world. But as my career evolved, I found myself drawn more towards the digital side of audio creation.
I transitioned from stage performance to crafting audio for the screen, working on everything from audition tapes to indie films. After graduation, a position in Game QA sparked a new passion for game development, inspiring me to return to Vancouver Film School. There, I unified my experiences to become a fully versatile sound designer.
Today, I help developers and creators in Vancouver and beyond build immersive worlds through sound. Whether you are crafting an interactive game environment or a linear film narrative, I am ready to bring my technical and creative skills to your next project.
